Hardboiled eggs and muesli provided. Beautiful and gorgeous units with amazing views, incredible view, for example. Marvellous and good location, in the Cocktail library.

fine views of Whitby Abbey, unique theme rooms, eclectic cocktail lounge
Dusty decor items certainly need attention!!! Parking difficulties can be quite stressful, especially during peak season!!! Awkward bathing facilities with lack of modern conveniences could be improved!!!

The quirky decor and comfy rooms made it a perfect spot for our group. We loved the breakfast basket each morning and had a blast exploring the area, especially the nearby Scarborough Open Air Theatre. Definitely a great choice for family gatherings!
Only downside was that the parking was a bit tricky, could be easier to manage.

La Rosa offers a uniquely charming experience with its creatively themed rooms, which provide comfort and a sense of imaginative flair. The staff was attentive, promptly addressing any requests I had . The breakfast delivered in a good basket included freshly baked pastries and a generous selection of delicious items, nice for a pleasant start to the day.
Some rooms require navigating stairs, which could be challenging for those with mobility issues.

Oh mate, the homemade pastries at La Rosa are an absolute delight-seriously some of the best I've had! The cocktail lounge vibes are lush, I mean, I could sip on a Vampire Velvet all night! Plus, the quirky décor gives it a right unique charm. You won't find your typical hotel here, that's for sure. The attention to detail is next level vibes.
Now, the bathing situation, a bit awkward with just a cast iron bath-no shower, love! Plus, the wifi on the upper floors was a bit dodgy, so we had to trek downstairs for decent reception.

La rosa hotel was super quirky n had an amazin vibe. The view from our room was beautiful and we loved the breakfast hamper that was delivered right to our door, so cool. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The themed decor was just great and there were so many unique things to see around the place. Loved the cocktails at the cocktail library too!
The bed was kinda squeaky all night and there wasn't really much storage for our stuff in the room. It would've been nice to have a shower instead of just the bath.
